Lexical acquisition of foreign languages by Russian native speakers

Global situation requires fluency in more than two languages nowadays. Professionals knowing several and aware of the lingvo-cultural aspects global communication are high value modern world due to economic, political social – factors. Vocabulary proficiency determines an individual’s mastery native or second (third) language owing fact that lexical skills include understanding semantics elements, their potential compatibility with other units phonological characteristics words speech. The present research deals simultaneous English German acquisition as L2 L3 respectively by senior students linguistics department majoring History Culture Countries Studied Languages Institute cross-cultural Moscow State Regional University. authors explore factors mutual influence systems both process study Russian speakers evaluate impact on acquisition.
